Another nifty feature about Easy Thumbnail is that you can convert one or more images inside Windows Explorer from the File menu or from Context pop-up menu with a right-click of the mouse on the file name. Make sure you have checked the option Add "Make Thumbnail" shortcut to Internet Explorer in the last step of Easy Thumbnail Setup Wizard.

Use Easy Thumbnail from context menu in Windows Explorer

If you would like to publish the images onto a web page, Easy Thumbnail can make the web page for you. What you need to do is select all image filenames inside Easy Thumbnail and right click to select Make Web page. The completed web page will be automatically saved in the folder where the original image(s) is.

The layout of the completed web page is based on a HTML template that can be easily customized to create your own layout. The HTML template is located in Easy Thumbnail's installation directory, normally at C:\Program Files\Easy Thumbnails\Template.html. Consult the Easy Thumbnail help file topic "Useful Tokens and System Variables" for details about how to modify the HTML template.

  • Can process all images contained in subfolders through the command-line.

  • If your original image is a Jpeg file, you can produce a lossless (no degradation of image quality) ? 90/180 rotation by choosing the Lossless setting in the Algorithm field.
